Prologue

"Do you believe in fate, Harry? The unexplainable force that somehow seems to draw people close and create situations otherwise unthinkable?" He seemed puzzled by my question but nodded nevertheless.

"Yes. I told you this before, sometimes I think fate brought us together." I smiled a bit at his words, feeling my heart flutter. I wanted to nuzzle against his neck and enjoy the close proximity in silence, cherishing the moment.

"History brought us together, Harry."
