'Downstream'

"We all have our ambitions or places where we want to go in the 'downstream' vicinity of our lives - into the flow of things. But, sometimes an obstacle appears (maybe more than one) which feels like a collision point of the 'upstream'. Maybe it's just a 'dam' of sorts...and damn well you know it! But maybe eventually the consistency of our natural flow will allow us to find a way around or over that 'dam'. If we flow long and freely enough perhaps we can overcome those obstacles in the 'downstream'." - Tony G. Marshall.
