Chapter One

{Bucky has a sister in this story and they are 10 years apart.}

Their parents died, leaving a 16-year-old Bucky to care for his 6-year-old sister. His childhood friend, Steve Rogers, gave Bucky and his sister a place to live: his place. Steve's parents were more than happy to have the Barnes siblings live with them. Time went on and Bucky eventually is able to get a place for himself and his sister. But when WWII starts and it becomes essential that Bucky enlist, he once again asks the Rogers parents to look after her.

While he was fighting alongside his comrades, the only thought giving him the will to live through this hell, was his sister waiting for him to come home.
