Prologue

After her brother was murdered when they were just children, Sage Lycrart is on the hunt for her brother's killer - Raidan Suragi, who was once her brother's best friend and is now one of the notorious Shadow Soldiers.

Five years have passed since that day, and Sage has become one of the best Soldiers for her age. Like hundreds of other Soldiers, Sage has sworn to protect her home city of Lion Crest but a chance encounter with Raidan will have Sage come face-to-face with criminals even more dangerous than the Shadow Soldiers, as well as the truth behind her brother's death.
