Simple Explination

"The world is as if gone numb. All normal happenings have gone odd. What do you suppose has happened cat?"
The cat smiled a horrific smile and ignored Alice's question.
"What you have to worry about is your life young one, a world of dangerous creatures approaches you fast" The cat replies smiling even wider.
"Oh shoo you dastardly cat. I swear I could feed you to the pigeons."
Alice stands as she says this looking down at the damned cat.
"Be careful Amantha, one is only as dastardly as they claim others are."
