The Foster Care system is a home to a millions of diverse and unique young adults. Strangely, the system attracts the hearts of five unlikely young men to learn a thing or two about raising a young girl. I'll mention, these five are no match against one deeply experienced girl. The fear of being left behind is the greatest coat of armor a foster child can wear, protections them from disappointment, attachment, pain. Alone. Yes, that's the key word, the most awful word to the English tongue. Murder doesn't hold a candle to it and hell is just a poor synonym.
