A young girl Meridith Renwalters is in her mid-twenties and is planning on pursuing her dream of being a private investigator. But when she begins this adventure she gets more than she bargained for. When she receives the news of her nephew being born she must fly out to California immediately. After staying a week there she comes home only to find her home has been robbed. At 1:00 am while walking around her dark and destroyed house she finds a body, a dead body.
