in a small town in Alabama where everyone knows each other, a new kid shows up on Kat's block. they never get new people so when this strange and mysterious boy shows up on the last day of school, she finds her way to him. she finds out that she's not alone when it comes to loosing people, that he can help her. when he starts to help her they form a relationship she didn't know she could have.
