Excerpt (Not a Prologue)

They were broken. That was all.

Two broken souls who thought they knew what love was. Two lovers who'd lost themselves in the idea of loving someone whom they believed could mend their tattered souls. Continuously, they gambled in the game of love, hoping that maybe, just maybe, this time it'd be right, and they would finally be okay.

Maybe, just maybe, if they played their cards right, they would finally learn how to love.
