Prologue: The Definition of Love

Before:
Riley Simonds and Kelly Newfeld have been best friends for as long as they can remember. Their smarts set them a part from all the other kids their age. As things at home get tough for Kelly, their friendship is threatened.
After:
6 years after Kelly's family takes him far away from Riley and the small town of Bailey, Riley is having problems with school, at home. Kelly's life has turned around for the better. He's the quarterback, everyone is either in love with home or wants to be him. But, in both of their lives, there's something that's missing. Fate brings them together once more, and they share a romance of a life time in what little time they have.
