Maya Hart, a girl who believed that hope was for suckers, it was something she had said often and a lot, but two years of liking the same exact guy, and never being able to move on no matter how hard she tried is now faced with it all over again when she stays with the Matthews family for the rest of the school year and Joshua Matthews so happens to be staying there too while he attends NYU. But she has to pretend that those few months of her publicly showing him how she felt was over and she couldn't keep holding onto hope for them unless he showed her otherwise. {This is a Joshaya fanfiction}
