Chapter 1

My name is Amelie Clarke, I am 20 years old, studying at University in the States, and completely out of my own waters. See, I'm British. Yep, tea, scones, crumpets and the rest of it. Let me tell you something it's not easy being the new girl on a completely different continent, especially when you have a British accent and no one seems to understand your sense of humour or the things you say.
