A Class By Himself

Derrick may feel isolated and alone as he's moved from his old neighborhood to an upper class high school far away from home. Even as his mother struggles to make ends meet, it can be hard to fit in. Especially with the other kids making fun of Derrick's financial situation. It's only the mystery and beauty of the boy on the morning bus ride to school that keeps Derrick hoping for a better day. If only he can get his attention. If only he could keep his heart from beating so hard whenever he's around. Can he actually make contact with this dreamy vision of beauty? Or is it all better left up to his imagination?
