Madeline, aka Maddie, was a normal girl. With a normal family, normal friends, normal school.. until she finds out a secret her 'family' has been keeping from her ever since she was a child. She discovers her true family, feelings, and finds herself along the way.

Cara was a not-so-normal girl. She has a single mother, an interesting father, and panic attacks that tend to surprise her every once in a while. She's so blinded by her love of the school's bad boy, she doesn't realize the one who really cares.
