Stacey is head cheerleader, student council and student body president at Long Beach High School, New York.
Darrin is an ex-drug addict, a lesbian, and suffering moving from foster family to foster family ever since her mother died of cancer when she was in the seventh grade. Stacey was happy with her life, or so she thought. Until one day, Darrin, her once best friend returns to their hometown. Darrin, has turned hard, and cruel, and is still suffering inside, making Stacey almost scared to talk to her again. But, what will Stacey do when, Darrin, becomes the girl of her dreams?
