I was laying on my bed crying, thinking "How could they leave me like this?" *Flashback* My door opens and my mom came in with a warm smile on her face. "Devin, honey are you alright?" I had just found out that my uncle had moved halfway across the world without even telling me! We were so close and he left without saying goodbye. A fourteen year old shouldn't have to go through this. "Mom I don't want to talk about this right now!" I practically yelled. "Well I just want you to know that your father and I love you so much and we will never leave you like your uncle Ed." *End Flashback* Now, not even three years later, they're gone... In this story Devin Gibson has to move halfway across the world to live with her uncle, who two years earlier she decided she never wanted to see again.
