Prologue

Long ago, there were rumoured to be a nation of female warriors called the Amazon, or Oiorpata, mentioned in Greek mythology and Classic antiquity. They were fierce fighters, strong, and independent.
The last thing Eve Grey expected was to be a descendant of the Amazons; of the legendary Queen Hippolyta herself. But as the truth of her family's past is slowly revealed to her, so are secrets long slumbering. With the help of an overly enthusiastic English graduate, a reluctant Amazon, and a wise Russian artefact trader, Eve will defy destiny to bring peace to an unbalanced, secret world.
