Chapter 1:

Years into the future, civilisation has both evolved and reversed with the collapse of the planet. Relying on scientifically advanced Victorian air craft, the age of steam has changed to electro-magnetic. With the planet in fragments called 'Zones', the world is divided and cut off save for the Electro-Flightsmen.

Enter Lyrin, a special girl with a connection to an ancient power that once kept the planet together. Aspiring to complete every young flightsman's dream, she yearns to take off and complete her own ship. But with all connections with great power, comes a cost. The planet is dying, and its inhabitant's hopes are riding on her to figure out her mission, before her time is up.
