"What would a girl like you want with a guy like me?" He narrowed his eyes in disgust, looking me up and down.

"I'm not..." I tried to defend myself before he cut me off.

"You mean to tell me that you aren't a spoiled little girl with a silver spoon in her mouth?" He laughed mockingly in my face, raising an eyebrow. "Prove it, princess."

Lucy Graves has always ran away from her problems. After losing her father to cancer, she decides she needs a change of scenery and moves to New York City to live with her wealthy, shallow mother who she hasn't spoken to in years. If settling in to a new city with a mother who she barely knows wasn't hard enough, she soon finds herself on Carson Knightly, the human equivalent to Satan, bad side.
