It was obvious what he wanted. He looked up at her dorm and then back down at her with a "What do ya say?" look in his eyes. She didn't want to sleep with him. She was saving herself until marriage. Yes, she knew she was part of the fierce and the few but she didn't mind.

Ugh, this is gonna suck

She kissed him again gently, thinking it would probably be her last time doing that, then she backed away and said "Goodnight Jidenna, I had so much fun" with a semi-defeated smile.

He looked utterly confused as he said "Uh, yah, goodnight Christine." He obviously didn't get rejected much.
