You were sent to Oregon, Gravity Falls.
Your parents thought you needed to become 'one with nature' or at least get outside more often.
You meet Dipper and Mabel one day at a 'cursed' stream, in the forest. After becoming friends, while swimming and goofing off, you experience pains throughout the night.
