Chapter One:

The colonies just defeated England for their independence. Adam Laclaire hears of new opportunities to be had in this new world, and that has him and his new bride Jenna dreaming of a fresh start. To be sure that the colonies are safe to start a new family, Adam decides to leave Jenna for a year to see.

Told in letters going back and forth from Jenna and Adam Laclaire as they fight to keep their love strong while apart they must see whether or not the Atlantic Ocean could cause their dreams to change.
