Daisy Hart has a secret which she cannot share with anyone, not even Adam whom she trust. Adam is puzzled by her behavior ; he cannot believe that such a sweet, beautiful girl can be involved in the brutality of America's underworld. Daisy's tenacity is rewarded, however, and Adam learns just what a courageous person she is.
