Description
In the year 2900, Earth is inhabitable due to nuclear warfare, climate change, and other enviromental factors. The citizens of Earth migrated to an Earth-like planet Ninzioira. In the year 3200, sixteen-year-old Kadiya lives in crowded, strelie Sector Five with her father. She is a dreamer and a leader. nShe is haunted by he rmother's abondmnet in infacy and the parnetal neglect from her father. However, when the Dominion selects her along with nine other teenagers for the deadly, mysterious and prestigious Eden project trip, she and the others are rbought to a barren, empty, long-dead Earth. Among the nine is seventeen-year-old Blaze, a boy from her past whose jagged past and anger thearten to unravel the small amount of composure she has. The goal is simple: explore Earth, report to the Dominion, and eventually come home as victors. But as days bleed into weeks and the group finds artifactsthat they were never menat find, the group realizes that they weren;t brought here to be hereos--they were brought here to be eradicated. The artifacts defy the alws of Sciene, and lines between reality and memories blur, and with the Dominion breathing down their backs, Kadiya must confront her turbelnt past, and the growing "wamrth" in her blood to save her friends. In the fight to redefine what home is, Kadiya will learn that the Dominion's biggest weapon isn't its people, but its secrets and their strange, enhanced creatures.
