Prologue

They were all wrong. Tv shows, movies, books, all of them. It didn't happen as they portrayed it would, nor were they the same. They didn't get any of it right. At least it will work to Daryan's benefit. The outbreak was slow at first. A person here, a person there. They thought they knew how to contain it. How it was transmitted. Daily lives played out normally as if it was a common cold going around, except for the quartines that followed when a person was infected. As more cases developed, it was apparent they were wrong. Soon enough there were too many cases than could be dealt with. Separated from his family when the outbreak happened, Daryan, a pure bred werewolf, struggles to find them. The war with the vampires that's always ongoing won't make things any easier for him.
