Merle has always wanted to be a photographer; it was and still is her life dream to be able to spread her name as one. But, one bad relationship and some betrayal later, she's stuck putting her fantastic skills as a photographer to a use she'd never wanted. As a paparazzo. A notoriously cold-hearted, vicious article writing paparazzo, but a pap nonetheless. And then one day, Merle is offered a deal she absolutely cannot resist; just a couple photos that can taint the forever-flawless image of Edward Christopher Sheeran, and she'd have enough money to pay off her debt AND kick-start her career.
