Zatz's POV

After the final battle with Lord Mictlan, Maya and Zatz stand before the gods. They've saved the realms, but the balance of life and death is broken - there is no sun, no moon. The gods offer them a choice:

Stay human, live together, grow old, and let the world fall into eternal twilight.

Become the sun and the moon, eternal but forever apart, keeping the balance but never able to touch again.
