We are Shifters. *** 19 year old Emma Seymour has been preparing her whole life for the Shifting, an event that occurs when an individual comes of age to fit into the reforming new society under the eyes of the leadership of the Chancellor and the five Superiors: Niall Horan, Harry Styles, Louis Tomlinson, Liam Payne, and Zayn Malik. She is to undergo the Shifting to receive the most valuable thing a Shifter could bestow... their Shift. A Shift is determined by the amount of radiation emitted from the Metamorph, an object that the newly formed nation receives its power. Emma soon realizes that she is different from the other Shifters, causing a rift in the century old tradition. But when darkness is being rumored throughout the once peaceful nations.
