Since the 1970s, the small city-state island of Tamont, North America, has boasted some of the most advanced technology in the world, including the creation and utilization of automatons: bioengineered humanoids, which were developed by Tamont's very own Blastonova Engineering in 1970, changing the world and Tamont forever.

Eighty-one years later, in June of 2051, Nino Blastonova and his automaton son, made in his likeness, are invited to the princess of Tamont's late birthday celebration. But when catastrophe strikes the Capitol, the automaton boy is unwillingly sent to the spotlight and thrust into a world he never knew was possible.
