Prologue

Maggie doesn't have it easy, her mother is a raging alcoholic, her step-father is an indecisive person who makes her life miserable, he physically and mentally abuses her. She doesn't understand what it is to be loved, since her mother loves drinking a lot more than she loves her. When she has a very unusual encounter with Trey, the hot-headed, mysterious guy from school, she realizes that when two people have secrets it draws them closer.
