"Mate," I whispered. However, everyone around me heard me and gasped. "What?" He asked turning to face me. He didn't t look pleased. "Nothing," I quickly replied. He scanned me from head to toe. He had the look of disgust plastered on his face. I mean, who wouldn't. I'm fat, ugly, stupid, and above all worthless. "What is your name?" "A-A-Alexa Vixon," I stuttered. "I, Jack Matthews, Alpha-to-be of the Blood Moon pack reject you worthless piece of crap called Alexa Vixon," He spat. Everyone laughed in response. I thought a mate was supposed to love and accept you. I thought when I find my mate, I would be protected. But those words pierced my heart. What am I supposed to do now? "Oh Jesus Christ woman, he rejected you. Accept it. He obviously doesn't deserve us!" Someone said. I looked around. I only saw people laughing and photographing me. Suddenly a burst of confidence made me say the following words, "I, Alexa Vixton accept your rejection Mr. Alpha to be." I heard gasps and it seems Jack didn't expect me to accept his rejection because dude's mouth reached to the floor. I turned to walk away from him but then confident me stopped and smiled then said out loud for everyone to hear. "I will make you regret rejecting me."
