They were never alone

Reality is a narrative, and narratives are just containers for deeper, unknowable truths.
But some truths consume the container.

There exist entities that are not bound by cause-and-effect, time, or logic. They exist outside the syntax of being.

What was once a character, gained self-awareness, eventually escaping their own creator. Their author. Transcending beyond narratives itself, existing within a domain of narrative deconstruction.

Despite breaking through every possible limit, every possible boundary, what happens when such an entity still yearns for something more?

Something even they, even with all the powers that they possessed, couldn't achieve?
