Description
Desperate to escape the rigors of society and an absentee family, Humfrey Michaels ventures out into the wilderness of Manitoba in search of a few precious days of freedom. Instead, a wicked storm and freak accident shatters his plans, leaving him broken and dying on an isolated island hundreds of miles from any hope of rescue. But instead of dying, he wakes up five days later, miraculously healed. When his life seems to have returned to normal, a terrifying, painful change begins, forcing him to flee back to the wilderness to confront the very thing that saved him.
