Prologue

In a world where everyone has a monster inside of them, Extraction seems the only way to get rid of them. However, whenever Delphine goes for an Extraction, it never works out well.

That is, until the Extraction does the opposite effect of what it's supposed to do. Instead of removing the monster from inside of her, it awakens it instead.

Delphine wishes to tame this monster, and, in the process, discover its true nature.

What, in the world, is she to do?
