In 1993, I immigrated to the US with my parents and older sister. Little did I know that besides the challenges of learning a new language, fitting in as a teenager in school, and adapting to a new culture and life, that I would have to do it on one leg.

In this autobiographical novel, I take you through this tumultuous and challenging period in my life.

What was the immigration process like in the 1990s? How did I adapt to my new life and a new environment as a disabled teen? How did I overcome depression, find friends, new passions, and my first love?
