Now that Joshua and Kassidy are step-siblings, they can't find a way to bond, though they both know they secretly care about each other, and this shows through Joshua's protection and some possessiveness and through Kassidy's motherly advice. Then there's Shane Berkley, the new senior at Crawford High, Kassidy finds herself catching a liking to him...but Joshua isn't so fond of him, especially after finding out he's a womanizer. So, with Shane in the way , could the two, Kassidy and Joshua manage to possibly fall in love...?
