Missy Walsh is a tough 12-year-old girl who wishes to be enough for her Father. She must survive a global epidemic, but also the shadow of her Father, which is surprisingly a lot harder. Missy will overcome challenges to find herself again, after hiding away from the discipline of her Father for so long. But it's hard to hide from someone who she's destined to become... the apple never falls far from the tree. Inevitably, the hatred towards her Father soon turns towards herself.
