In this "mythical" world, many people believed that horses were meant for riding. That they were just animals, beasts, and even uncontrollable animals. Though not here, where there are such things called "horse-shifters." Just like a werewolf, horse-shifters shifted into horses whenever they felt like it, or when their instinct kicked in. 18 year old Aleta Mörker as a human, and 3 year old Autumn Spirit as her horse, travel through things that both forms least expect. Being captured, becoming the unthinkable, and doing the unthinkable, changes her life dramatically. Though not just one event changes everything, but something she least expects.
