Prologue

The Spring hasn't changed in the years you've been there. The sun rises at the same time, the Maze closes at the same time, and Blondie is always a girl. Until it isn't. When a stranger throws off part of the routine, you and a few other girls are sure he'll destroy other parts or maybe even all of it. If you want to save the Spring, you'll have to find out what he's up to. Something that will require you to get very, very close to him.

When you actually do though, you can't help but think that maybe he's up to nothing at all. And even worse, maybe the longer you're with him, the less you want your one-sided relationship to end.
