The system is broken. The people inside it are worse. But sometimes the ones left behind are the ones worth listening to.

This is not the book.

These are the scraps. The outtakes. The scenes that didn't fit, the dialogue that wandered off, the entries written half-drunk on cheap whisky at 3am (usually by Jamie).

Set inside the world of a currently-in-progress original thriller - one that's still under wraps until it's finished - this collection is part deleted scenes, part in-universe notebook, and part character chaos. Think blackmail material disguised as bonus content.

You'll meet:
- a disgraced ex-analyst with too much time and not enough impulse control
- a detective holding her broken moral compass together with caffeine and spite
- and the accidental team of misfits they almost didn't get to choose.

This isn't told in order.
It won't make total sense.
And it definitely isn't canon.

But it will give you a glimpse behind the curtain.
Of what came before.
Of what got cut.
Of what might still happen if no one hits delete.
