Bailey now finds herself in a new place, new environment, living with godparents she forgot she had. She also finds herself in a new school, having to deal with a counselor who won’t quit bugging her, severe dissociative episodes, a crush on a teacher, unbearable guilt, and a secret she could never tell anyone. Bailey soon meets Camillo, a sensitive (and quite handsome) senior, who helps her find herself again. Camillo lets Bailey know that she isn’t alone—and she isn’t the only one with secrets.
