This story draws inspiration from real events that my mother experienced during her teenage years as she transitioned from the rural landscapes of Arksana to the bustling city of Philpedia. Throughout her journey, she faced a loads of challenges, including the harsh realities of bullying and racism. Her days were filled with conflicts and struggles that tested her resilience, including encounters with fights and the traumatic experience of sexual assault. uring these hardships, she held onto a dream of returning to the comforting familiarity of her hometown, where her heart remained tethered to her boyfriend Colton and the cherished friendships she left behind.
