Description
IDK what I'm doing Elmira thought the only way happiness could come into her life was if their father weren't in the picture. So, poison worked better. She somehow dodged police suspension. But her brothers had different reactions than she was hoping for. One was not mad, but not happy either. And the other one was too young to care. Years later, Elmira's decision came to bite her back as they started struggling financially. The older son had to swallow back his pride for the sake of his siblings. Elmira did illegal things she wished she could undo-except for Spelling Bees and Math gigs. One day, her life took a turn when she discovered that the elderly woman she'd once helped was part of a secret organization-and they wanted to hire her. As shady as it sounded, she had no reason not to join cause she was already at rock bottom. Why not try finding the abyss? Later, she learned how wrong and the little knowledge she had about the world. She was offered to be one of the higher-ups... but... she needed training-which may or may not take years. Finally, when she entered university, her "so-called" training also finished. Except... now, she had to worry about assassinations and losing an arm or two and probably mass genocide. Her brothers will be safe, tho. Then... came the trouble of having a personal "assassin" hired just to kill her. She was somehow surviving by outsmarting him and his crew. Then came family problems. Then she and her "assassin" come face-to-face without knowing each others identity. And then the worse of the problem-dealing with the cursed thought that maybe, just maybe, they might not be very different after all. Everything feels like a weird game of "pie or kiss" to her-but instead both options scream, "you might die." Now, everything depends on how she-and the ones she loves-navigate the chaos ahead Good luck surviving this cringe. Happy suffering 👋.
