Her backstory: As a kid, she was always told by everyone in her family that girls must be housewives and ONLY boys must protect and go to work. Such an old mindset right? That's what she thought too! I mean, where are we, in california? Kaede hated that sentence so much, despised it actually. Why should a gender define her personality? So, kaede cut her hair boyish and dyed it red to seem more like a boy too. She wore a binder, even practiced to make her voice deeper. Literally done everything she could. But...
