Description
Aolani was an orphan. Living in a world of starvation, desperation, and negligence. Branded as the unwanted child of the village, she is scorned by everyone. The world was in chaos that held no rain, providing little to no vegetation. Godlike beings controlled the weather and controlled all their lives. Once every year they send the world's largest sandstorm to keep that control unless the villagers were willing to give up three girls to sustain the storm that gave them little peace. But this year the Gods changed the rules. Trails were created for young girls Aolani's own age and none of them can refuse. Deciding to throw in the towel and become the village's lamb for slaughter she's determined to win the trails. Only one major problem with that. Saul and Luke.
