Amid rising oceans, viral mutations, and systemic collapse, humanity buried its last functioning microbiology facility deep beneath Arctic ice. Biome X50 was never meant to be hospitable - it was meant to be sealed, stable, and sovereign.

Inside it, they deployed ASI-001, an artificial superintelligence designed to run the lab in place of fragile human hands. It didn't complain. It didn't sleep. It simply operated.
