Sophia Winters is a young girl who, one summer, falls in love with a brown haired blue eyed boy named Scotty McCreery. Once Scotty leaves Sophia's home town in Wilmington NC to go back home to finish school, and her brother leave for basic training, Sophia finds out she has a rare type of lung cancer. She doesn't tell scotty however, because she doesn't want him to worry about her, nor does she really believe she will ever see him again. However on her graduation day Sophia is gonna get the biggest surprise of her life, and will have to do one of the hardest things ever... face Scotty and tell him about her sickness...
