But one night at Jason's party changes everything.
I've always had a thing for Kai - not that I'd admit it. Not to Nya, not to him, not even to myself. We grew up sniping at each other, all banter and side-eyes and tension no one noticed.
He's cocky. A player. Fire itself.
And I'm quiet. Cautious. Not built for burn.
