There's two sides to every story. *** Erin is like any other teen and her life is perfect; she's dating the hottest guy, she has an awesome best friend and family, she understands algebra and she's finally getting noticed in her photography work. Yet she seems to never be able to pull her head from the books always in her hands, is there a reason why though that the books are ten times more captivating than her own life? Is she trying to tell herself something or is she just a book nerd with a bad case of daydreaming? Erin continues to ignore the glitches around her, especially with her annoying boyfriend Jed and how every time she sees her brothers best friend Eli she feels how she is meant to feel, how the books say it is. This leaves her questioning one thing; is Erin in the wrong story? *** Mel is Erin's best friend and although her life is in ruins she has no care factor in the slightest, or so it seems. Mel has trust issues, after being abandoned by her father and left with a mother that solely focuses on her addiction to her job Mel is left to look after herself at home or to basically always claim stake of the spare bedroom at Erin's. She's fine with that and she's even coping with the rumours her ex boyfriend is spreading about her and their past sex life. Mel's facade has always been the girl that takes no shit and if you do one thing wrong to her girl and only friend Erin than you're in for it. She's the school's bad girl and now with the rumours a cheap night. Mel's used to keeping a bored expression and hiding her fears of things, such as trust and love. But when Erin can't be there for her whilst she deals with her own problems her childhood crush pops back up like a knight in shining armour. Her trust issues and hate towards the poisonous word 'love' isn't her problem, the problem is that this childhood crush? He is Erin's twin brother. *** Things just got a whole lot more complicated.
