Prologue: What Could Possibly Go Wrong?

Merideth, Wesley and their band of one hundred and fifty kids, including Wesley's sister; Wesley's mother, Wesley's friend Jeff (a.k.a. Rat-Boy), Rat-Boy's sister Parvati and Derique Richard have arrived back in Bristol, England to find their ship left without them. Now, a new adventure awaits to get to the ship. Once there, the new members of the Black Wing have a new mission as per Wesley's promise, to find Merideth's family and rescue them from Daniel Issacs. But when things go awry, Merideth must use quick wits and newfound courage to save herself before she gets hurt...or worse. What could possibly happen now that Merideth is alone without two men to take a shot for her?
